Humane Genomics is a New York City company developing precision cancer therapies by engineering cancer-killing RNA/oncolytic viruses using a synthetic-biology platform. In February 2025 it announced the close of a Series Seed financing round led by Union Square Ventures. It was founded in 2016 by Peter Weijmarshausen (CEO, formerly co-founder of Shapeways) and Andrew Hessel.
